  The Elizabeth Ann Mattingly who married Samuel Beavin has to have been the same person as the wife of John Askin, because (according to Will Armstrong) Jennie Rose Askin, daughter of Elizabeth Ann Mattingly and John Askin, was the "aunt" of Ellen Cornelia Ryan (1864-1947). (Technically, half-aunt, of course.) As of 30 Oct 2020, Will Armstrong confirms that this is the case.
