Notes - Nahum Mitchell (citation details below) identifies the Mary Read who married Ebenezer Shaw as a daughter, born 1706, of Samuel Read of Weymouth and his wife Mary Davis. But as this WeRelate page correctly points out, the will of Stephen Reed, 20 Jan 1737, gives one share to "Mary Shaw the Wife of Ebenezer Shaw of Bridgewater in the County afores'd who is one of the Daughters of the s'd Deceased".
