  Also called Samuel Hoyt, Horght, Hoight, etc. Savage said that he died young and unmarried, but David W. Hoyt's 1871 A Genealogical History of the Hoyt, Haight, and Hight Families (citation details below), makes a convincing case that he was the same Samuel Hoyt/Haight who appears in Eastchester in 1672 and later, then as a leader among the Quakers of Flushing from 1683 until his death in Sep 1712.
