  On the record of her marriage to Joseph Newton, she is given as "Frances Able", age 22, and the marriage is stated to be her second. The "Births" page of the Newton family bible record cited below, which lists various children of Joseph Sylvester Newton by both of his wives, notes in clear handwriting the birth on 22 Aug 1889 of "twins (not named)".
