    • Also spelled Renold, Renald, Renall, etc. Overseer of Great Bentley parish, 1625 and 1637; churchwarden there, 1627, 1633, and 1634. Emigrated to New England in 1637 or 1638; first seen at Hartford in 1638. His name is on the Founders Monument in downtown Hartford.
      He removed to Farmington in 1639 or 1640 and was afterwards to Saybrook.

      At his death, only two of his nine children, Reinold and Mary, were still alive. The inventory of his estate amounted to over £800, well over $100,000 in today's money.
