Notes - Emigrated 1640 and settled at Wethersfield. He is widely asserted to have been a son of John Wright of Brook Hall, South Weald, Essex, and his wife Grace Glascock, and a descendant of John Wright of Kelvedon Manor, d. 1551. However, in the Great Migration Directory (citation details below), Robert Charles Anderson gives his origins as "unknown."
