  • Notes
    • After the death of her Bacon-surnamed husband, she married Ephraim Pope, who made his will in 1676. As Elizabeth Harsnett, "cozen, now wife unto [blank] Pope," she is mentioned as the mother of "John Bacon, Ephraim [illegible], and Elizabeth Pope" in the 1663 will of Faintnot Wines, who died in Charlestown 25 Feb 1665. The preponderance of records says that her given name was Ann, not Elizabeth, but this will would seem to indicate that her maiden name was Harsnett.
