Steve and Elaine Stiles came down, and we went to Circuit City with them. We were poring over the CD section, and I was gazing with some interest on the first Rhino "Appalachian Stomp" collection. Elaine wandered over and asked what I was looking at.

"Well, this seems interesting to me, somehow. It has the basics of bluegrass on it. The ones everybody knows, and a bunch more. See, here's The Ballad of Jed Clampett, and Foggy Mountain Breakdown, and Dueling Banjos..."

"That's my brother," Elaine (nee Elaine Goodman) said. Sure enough, Steve Goodman is the banjo half of the piece.

Well, to make a long story short, "the end."
