My favorite response in comics isn't online: Linda Medley's "Where Do You Get Your Ideas?" from the Comics Journal Winter 2002 Special. (Although having said that I must apologize: the way it hit me all out of the blue like it did on that last page had something to do with the fact that I didn't realize when I started reading it that that's--well, not what it's "about"; not in a Topic Sentence kind of way. But 9/11 is what it's on about; witnessing and responding is pretty much precisely what it's about.
