         <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I'm watching an old "Captain Marvel" movie serial in which the bad guy has a ancient gold scorpion whose legs hold lenses which, when properly positioned, turns sunlight into a disintegration ray.</p>

<p>I think the good Senator could put one of those to good use.</p>]]>

<p>It gets by as well as it does because many of its reporters are far too good for it. Especially in the days of Collins, Warner, and Harshaw.</p>]]>
