Nile Green
Posted by Teresa at 04:00 PM *

Scientists have determined that the basic color of the universe is a pastel green, the color of a piece of celadon dinnerware that’s thinking hard about celery.

Nile Green is not the color of celadon but is closer to a post-modern green used a lot by Martha.

Not celadon proper, but celadon crossed with celery. Nile Green is actually a hard color to describe.

I like almost all colors, but Nile Green is one I like less well than many others. It seems a pity that it should turn out to be the basic color of the universe. Why not a nice saturated philodendron green, or a coppery red, or ultramarine blue?
