Erik Olson has sent me the URL of the Cardinal Ratzinger Fan Club. I’ve been going back and forth on whether it’s serious. On the one hand, the coffee mug, the CDF Rap Sheet, and the whole idea of the thing. On the other hand, the rest of the site, which sounds like it’s straight.

I ordered the Cardinal Ratzinger Fan Club: Putting the Smackdown on Heresy Since 1981 coffee mug for my wife. It holds a full twelve ounces. Its color scheme is attractive. It has a handsome picture of Cardinal Ratzinger, seated, looking like Cardinal Ximinez from Monty Python, on its side.

It made her laugh.
