People have been using the craigslist>New Orleans>lost & found page as an improvised check-in site, posting messages from people who are trying to find their New Orleans relatives, and from New Orleans relatives who are trying to be found.

And while we're at it, my wife's aunt and uncle in Biloxi are okay, too, and their house (the map had no elevations, so I didn't know they were way up high) stands, with a little water in it.
Yes, I've been through a flood, and I know even an inch of nasty water is the shits, but still.
