Tonight, 9:30, Lakeside Lounge, 162 Avenue B, between 10th & 11th streets. We’re the only band, so we may wind up doing a slightly longer set than our usual.

I'm actually going to try to make this one. I would like to point out for those who don't know, however, that Lakeside Lounge has the best jukebox in the city--just for additional inncentive.

#2 ::: Xopher ::: (view all by) ::: May 30, 2006, 12:55 PM:

I take it that 'inncentive' is what makes you attend a particular pub? And I guess 'innocentive' would a bribe payed the jury by the defense...

Aaaaaaaaggggghhhhh! 'Payed'?!?!?!?!?!

It is the karma for commenting on someone else's typo. A fair cop.

What lake is the Lounge beside?

Xopher: Hahahahahahahahaha...You got it.

Like I always say, I can proofread any copy except my own. Also, I'm typing this on a weird computer that doesn't let me see what I'm typing till several letters later.

Rich: Just why the Lakeside is called that, since it's not near any lake, is not clear to me. I think it may be named in honor of a blues bar in Chicago.

Have a good time -- rock on!

BTW, I am loving the CD. The day will come when you are playing out and I am overnight in the City, at lose ends and looking for some live music. I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, I have the CD here in the short pile I play while I'm on the computer. I particularly like the way "Invisible Hand" ends with "I'll Fly Away."
