Pet peeve, and I'm pretty sure this is as much a unversal Americanism as it is wrong: "The plane will land momentarily." If that looks right to you, note that 'momentarily' is 'FOR a moment', not "IN a moment'.
So you'll be expecting a reply from him that says 'oh, of course, yes, you're right'? :) :)
