No insurance and no sick leave would crush me with fear the moment I had leisure to think if I were in that situation. I'd like to help set up something that will alleviate that; it would be good to work with others on it.
I am making a book about funny, crazy client stories from the days when I was a travel agent. Well, I'm writing it. Someone else will physically make it if I'm lucky.
That's what I get for not reading anything online over the weekends. Holy freaking cow. Also, get well soon, and lifestyle changes are ace, and I'm glad things are going pretty well, and I do hope all parties of the first part plus the second part are getting enough sleep.
I am deeply grieved to lose a friend of thirty years standing, and I wish I could attend a memorial service for him in person. Since I can't, it's comforting to see so many people here sharing their memories. I'll be going through my photographs today and remembering all the ways in which our lives intertwined.

Flavored coffee is an abomination. I say this having recently tried Godiva chocolate coffee.
The main thing I learned at VP was it's time to take my writing career seriously. That sounds simple, but it's still setting off internal aftershocks.
