I will now commence using "that bakes my noodle" when I am mad.

That's what I get for not reading anything online over the weekends. Holy freaking cow. Also, get well soon, and lifestyle changes are ace, and I'm glad things are going pretty well, and I do hope all parties of the first part plus the second part are getting enough sleep.

I am deeply grieved to lose a friend of thirty years standing, and I wish I could attend a memorial service for him in person. Since I can't, it's comforting to see so many people here sharing their memories. I'll be going through my photographs today and remembering all the ways in which our lives intertwined.

Posted on entry VP 10: Home again ::: October 18, 2006, 03:37 PM:
The main thing I learned at VP was it's time to take my writing career seriously. That sounds simple, but it's still setting off internal aftershocks.
Posted on entry Sign your organ donor card ::: September 27, 2006, 04:56 PM:
I've signed mine for years. It's the only thing that reconsiles me to death: that mine should bring life to someone else.

I am shocked and grieved to read this.

Posted on entry I'm a little more dubious than I was yesterday ::: May 28, 2006, 02:35 PM:
But I don't have a lawyer! I mean, how many people do? Does saying, "Not without my lawyer" really mean "appoint one and we'll talk?"
Posted on entry Back ::: March 15, 2006, 02:29 AM:
I am smitten with the wrought-iron gate that looks like Teresa designed it.

Requisat in pacem, Arthur. You were an excellent hamster.
