I'm sorry, but when I want to write a novel quickly I participate
in National Novel Writing Month. The end result has been awful in
all three years I've done it, but I did have a lot of fun.
Very funny. Slightly depressing, but also very funny. Less funny is
the people who are destined to be taken in by this. To them I say:
No! Stop! Think! The best way to write a good book is to sit down
and write the thing!
Also the motivating example: even Harry Potter, the bestseller
phenomenon of our time, was rejected by seven publishers.
But you intelligent readers all knew that anyway.
