See, when I hear the name "Shiloh" I think of that young adult book
about that dog.
I grew up going to Civil War reenactments, and so I have all these
odd and slightly disjointed memories of sitting on grassy hills,
watching while soldiers marched by and cannons fired. It's just
part of growing up Southern, I suppose.
And I have no idea why I'm delurking to post this, of all
things.
