More evidence that "snark" in the hands of the inexperienced can be a dangerous thing.
Got it...but why stay where it became abundantly clear that PA's a scam?
Why would anyone work for PA for $6/hour? Are there no fast food outlets in Frederick, MD?
I made it through the first page of the article, but couldn't take any more. Silly, spoiled, stupid people.
Pretty much the only squawking about AW unfairness is coming from Publish America writers, and especially Shelagh Watkins, who's been banned from AW more than once.

I remember York from PA. Quite a selective memory you have regarding just about everything.
Wow...I noticed AW was down, but thought it was just moving.
Stephanie and BB will get their just desserts, I am certain.
Dave:
I sense you are feeling a well night unbearable need to shiver.
Theodric shook his head regretfully. A slight frown wrinkled his otherwise smooth forehead, and he sighed. “Perhaps ‘tis best you meet our lady, my lord,” he suggested.
Devlin simply stared at him, trying to assimilate all that had occurred in the last few minutes. Intrigued, despite his anger and incredulity at the audacious announcement the man had made, his thoughts spun.
The sound of his breathing seemed to magnify in the deafening silence and a chill chased its way up his spine. The urge to shiver grew nigh unbearable with each second that passed.

Mr. Grigory bade him wait here, and Devlin had lighted only the single candle on the desk to cast the gloom from the room whilst he waited. The chamber, for the most part, remained cloaked in darkness.

In New Delhi, the Indian writer Gurcharan Das remarked to me that with each visit to the U.S. lately, he has been forced by border officials to explain why he is coming to America.
Isn't that a standard question asked everywhere? In the past two years I've been asked that in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama. I was forced to explain I was a turista.
The dumb questions are all over retail. My sister manages a Williams-Sonoma in Southern Calif., and regularly regales me with the questions of clueless customers.
"How long will this salt keep?"
"Do you carry a salsa maker?" [Her response: "We call them knives."]
"Are eggs and butter included?" [referring to bags of *dry* cake mix.]
It seems to me that people who think “terrorist” when they hear “swarthy Middle Eastern immigrant, probably aren't in the market for a salwar kameez.

You already have that. Every time I step off the plane in the US I know that I can be legally killed by the governament. I keep track of this kind of things. New York: here they can kill me. Massachussets: don't think so. Vermont: No. Texas: why YES. And so on.
And so on...
Sheesh.
Back to the Schiavo case, the lesson I've learned from it is the importance of an explicit living will.
