Can anyone explain why all the heightened security just
after the plot has been foiled and the participants
arrested? From what I've read, this investigation was going on for
a long time and a lot of people were aware of it - yet, no extra
precautions were taken before the arrests.
If you knew some people were planning to rob you, would you wait
until after they were arrested, and then lock up your
valuables?
It almost makes me wonder if all this extra hoop-te-doodle has
some other purpose...
