simply legends, or another problem altogether?
I think its another problem altogether, or beside the point. The
point is that the vast majority of books published are midlist,
still. The fact that publishers seek blockbusters has a lot to do
with a lot of different things (not the least of which is job and
eminence), but in plain numbers, most of the published books are
not, in fact, blockbusters.
