To react mutely when CNN announces "it's started" is unconscionable. I'm not saying firebomb the McDonalds, but I am saying REACT. Loud.

Interesting post. I admit to watching The Shield without breathing half the time cos I'm so riveted. Like all good police/crime/spy dramas, it brings up uncomfortable questions. Do I want the cops to 'allow' one drug dealer to operate and pay 'rent' on the space to the dirty cops if it means taking the other 10 dealers off the street? Of course, the correct answer to this issue is to legalize drugs. But until that happens, it makes me think about the alternatives.

I just took blueberry muffins out of the oven and there's fresh coffee. If everyone's gonna be up all night again hashing this thing out so we can win next time, you're all welcome to come over.

Trust me, I'm not going to sit around years from now wondering how "we" got here. I live in Florida, voted for Gore and know exactly how "we" got here. The only blame I accept for any of this mess is voting for Senators and Representatives who were either bald-faced liars to begin with or were corruptable at a lower threshold than even I could have imagined.

Thanks for the link to Easily Distracted. Seems to be an intelligent blogger with a nice writing style and easy humor. I shall tune in.
