Actually, raccoons have been known to kill the dogs folk use to
hunt them. A 'coon can drop out of a tree on a dog's head easy.
That's why you hunt with a pack of dogs if you can borrow from your
neighbors. Although if you use a Plott rather than a Walker hound,
the odds shift somewhat in the hound's favor - they're bigger dogs.
Coyotes are, I 'spect, too smart to go near a 'coon.
