She's British alright. But I've never heard of the 2nd Light Tank Regiment. There's the Second Royal Tank Regiment, but their tank crews are all-male.
It is a good idea, but on the other hand many will be so busy they get no time to read the books. I sent three or four out to my brother out there and eventually he wrote and told me to save my cash - he was working seven days a week, 7-10pm. And now, of course, reading a good book is a distant fantasy...
