No, really, traditional raclette is served with potatoes and
cornichons, but the cheese is scraped with the potatoes, not the
pickles. I must say, though, that scraping cheese, even well
melted, with cooked potatoes is not easy, but who am I to question
tradition? Should be served with jambon cru as well, a ham for
which we have no equivalent here.
