DailyKos has some details on the purge.
"As Bush gears up his re-election campaign, the White House has advised that if senior staff and Cabinet members are thinking of leaving the administration, this is the time to resign; otherwise, they will be expected to remain aboard until after the 2004 election if Bush wins a second term."
Pretty smart in a way, but risky. Looks like the small world of Bush is getting smaller. In other words he's tightening his blinders and focusing on the goal. Or more likely Rove is tightening the blinders. How the hell they think they can win with a decimated economy and a bunch of rookies is beyond me though...
