I'd have thought Barnes's desire to be able to look at all the
worms and envisage them doing all their wormy things would be
useful for citizen political participation. The politicians may not
articulate it in public, but in private they, and their advisers,
are running hypothetical analyses all the time. His 'blue' and
'red' teams seem too simplistic to be really useful, too.
