I've had speakeasy service for several years now, and that does not
sound like the company that I have dealt with.
Speakeasy had been the only consumer broadband provider I've ever
dealt with that had a clue. They have been able to answer
questions, troubleshoot my errors, and generally been
reachable.
Their CEO has even included his email (not apparently an alias) in
messages, from last October:
We are working continually to improve your service experience with us. We absolutely value your business, and hope that you will take the time to provide some feedback on how we're doing.
