Mr. Jordan was my introduction to fantasy when I was thirteen. A
few years later I had the chance to meet him at Oxford Books in
Atlanta, and I was absolutely petrified. He was extraordinarily
kind and funny, and I'm sure that at some point I actually
breathed. Now I'm an aspiring fantasy writer, and it's absolutely
not an exaggeration to say that his books changed my life. Goodbye,
