Tiny side fact: 'uitmaken' also means to end a relationship.
@1 - I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, but I didn't get your point. Then again, I don't think about anti-virus software that often, so it's probably me.
What I thought the point was is that any computer that deals with something as sensitive as votes would ideally be so insanely hardened against any kind of attack or tomfoolery that no commercial anti-virus software could run on it in the first place, whereas I get the impression runs off the shelf Windows servers or something. But I am probably wrong - for one thing, it doesn't quite fit xkcd's metaphor, hilarious as it is.
OK, I know I am not adding much to this conversation, but: Paranoia
Agent! Best anime series evar! Well, among my top 10 at least.
ScottH: thanks :)
From this distance (Austria) American election seem very, very strange. Can someone point me to a source that explains how voting works over there? I don't understand primaries, caucuses, conventions, Electoral colleges and all that.
No, I am serious, Why are you all looking at me like that?
*looks up*
Oh.
Regardless!

So cats claw clews? Kewl!
