I just spent a couple of days untangling a legion of sockpuppets
who were harassing a couple of my friends. (sordid story here, if you care) I can only conclude that there
are some people who really think that anything they do is
reasonable and proportionate, or possibly, that since everything
online isn't 'real', it couldn't possibly be unreasonable or
disproportionate.
