Hmmm, by that criteria, Consumer Reports would be operated by what? No league writers?
Sorry, Robert Fletcher, that logic just doesn't fly. The league we're in is dictated by the accuracy of our facts and our integrity, not by our fiction writing. On those counts, you're not in any league. All you have is a stick you think is a bat. We, on the other hand, are in the majors. In fact, just compare P&E to your collage of scam businesses. Not one of your businesses is recommended by anything other than another scam run by you. There are no legitimate businesses in the publishing industry recommending you and your businesses. For its part, P&E has been a top watchdog site for eight years running according to Writers Digest.
Meanwhile, Victoria, Ann, and James can similarly point to equal accomplishments when it comes to factual reporting and integrity.
When I first produced code for business use back around 1981, I sought out dock workers and other individuals who did not use computers at all. I then explained just enough about the program and asked them to then react to the on-screen form to see if it made sense to them and whether there were any problems. My programs became very good quite quickly because I looked for what posed a problem to them and not what was easier for me to code. I'm happy to say the company let me produce 52 programs handling plastics compounding, machine scheduling, and a few miscellaneous tasks while I was with them.
Your efforts at testing are very important, if not critical. Don't put yourself down.
Anyone know if her theft of checks conviction was a felony charge?
Besides, the weasel wasn't guilty of vote fraud.
Maybe Oprah should ask, "What part of NO CANDIDATES" did you not understand?"
Wishing you both well.
So, when the hundred years of war on terror that McCain has stated it might take to win is over, does that mean we'll get a similar monument that we can call the McCain Column? Of course, will ours feature a robed McCain at the pinnacle with his hands outstretched and lightning bolts emanating from them?
Must agree with Charlie's recommendation of a Z80. That's solid and very reliable.
P&E is now onboard in support of Mr. Martin and his publisher.
BB's complaints against Wikimedia were dismissed in NJ State Court today, all but one with prejudice.
These comments all provide wonderful writing material. Probably most will produce better stories than my own effort, Beasts R Us, which was published by Hard Shell Word Factory.
I seriously doubt that India would be spared to become a replacement superpower.
When considering the willingness to use those weapons, one has to consider that the Iranians just might pose a greater threat especially because of the fanaticism of those in power. Granted, it may be a show only to secure a base of power, but one has to wonder how dedicated the Iranian power structure is to that fanaticism.
Sadly, Saddam got off too easy for causing the Iranians to revitalize their military after the fall of the Shah.
Does that change we deserve resonate like a glove from sea to shining sea?
Kind of makes me wonder how Newsweek got hold of a copy, presuming they did in order to present some of the color panels. I'm guessing the book is available in a doctor's office. If so, then it's understandable that it's vanity produced. Just too bad that Newsweek didn't delve any farther than skin deep.
I sent Teresa an email about two weeks ago and received no response. I hope that doesn't mean that email sent to her @panix.com address is also failing to arrive.
There are bloggers who I would equate with columnists of the old
days. In both cases, if they're interesting enough, I'll buy their
books. If not, I'm probably ignoring both their books and
blogs/columns. So, as for them mentioning their books, I see no problem
with it aside from the fact that it might grate slightly on some
readers of the column/blog who get tired of seeing the same advertising
message repeated.
I served in that war. I saw no concentration camps. Nor did I see
any children running in packs like animals. Likewise, I didn't see any
children pimping their sisters and mothers. Of the many civilians I had
contact with, most were friendly and optimistic about living free of
the VC and North Vietnamese. Many wanted only the weapons to defend
themselves. Exactly what war was he alluding to and when did he serve
over there to even witness anything he alleged?
