I managed to wipe out everyone but Madagascar and Greenland (approx. 19 million folks) in less than a year. How is that not a success? In virus terms, at least.

Sure, it's not a win in the game, but this kind of result in real life would be the stuff of horror films, wouldn't it?

James, given that funerals often attract irregular attenders and those not familiar with any kind of liturgy, it does not strike me as exceeding strange that a parish might produce a unique program for such a service.

At least in my Anglican experience.

I very much liked Matrix. Parts 2 and 3, not so very much. I can still watch the original. The sequels almost destroyed my ability to enjoy it, though. But top-ranked? Uh, no.

I've seen one in that popular ribbon shape, all red, white and blue, that says "Just pretend it's all OK."

The corporate masters at the new VVM (who are mostly the masters from the old New Times) aren't interested in being national political players. They're willing to front some investigative reporting, but only on a local level. Thus, strips which focus on national issues aren't likely to make the cut. Count yourself lucky if you live in a city served by an alternative that's not part of this chain.

I was going to suggest that if you knew more about the denizens of our beloved state Legislature, this would come as no surprise. But, sadly, this tells you all you need to know about them. Sigh.
