There's a liquor store in Chelmsford, MA that carries Chimay (and lots of other unusual and good stuff). Harrington's on Summer Street.

I like to go in and buy beer based on how interesting I find the label. Sometimes it works out. ;-)

Washington Post is reporting the shooter was a 20 year old named Robert Hawkins (not Mohammed), and that he left a suicide note. Eyewitnesses describe him as having a military style haircut, a black backpack and a camouflage vest.

Upcoming press conference in Rochester, should be starting any time.

A witness claims to have spoken to the suspect's step-son. The step-son said the man has been drinking for 72 hours and asked where he could get some road flares.

Another way to look at St. Clair's abandonment of Ticonderoga is that he preserved his army, which was insufficient to hold Ticonderoga anyway. Even if Burgoyne hadn't been able to surprise everyone by hauling artillery up Mount Defiance, it's extremely likely he would've taken Ticonderoga and St. Clair's army in relatively short order.

As it is, St. Clair was able to fight a delaying action in the woods and the remnants of his force eventually joined in the victory at Saratoga.

My wife works for a company that makes time management software. Her comment was that if there is a bomb threat meant for the end of a month, is it a month on the Gregorian calendar?

Maybe the Boston PD is blowing stuff up on the wrong day...

Isn't R. David Paulison the gentleman that recommended we use duct tape and plastic to seal doors and windows in the event of a terrorist attack?
