Maybe I don't understand. Even with cookies blocked and deleted I can dig as far back as there are archives to dig.
(Also not States-based.)
I went to bed last night feeling exactly as Charlie said. I'm not so much elated by the future as less wary of it.
In a perfect world, the choice would have been Good vs Evil*. In the real world America's choices were Fairly Decent vs Malicious. And any good-leaning man can only do so much while still respecting your built-in constitutional protections.
(*Not really. A perfect world would have Good on both sides.)
Unbelievably good news! Maybe I'll put off signing these Divorce America papers for a bit.
Wooo!!
McCain scored rather well with his closing remarks, while Obama seemed scattered in his. I was hoping he'd say something along the lines of "Unlike Senator McCain, who intends to lean on his greater foreign policy experience, I intend to build a team of capable people and lean on them."

CNN spam? Today I got one about a politician's two-year-old affair, and a few days earlier another about an actor's car accident. Yet I haven't heard a damned thing about, for example, the DHS's laptop seizure policy, or any of the other liberties Americans have lost in the last seven years.
Boing Boing's where I get the real news.
