I gave up on the rhyme scheme; it was forced at best. All in the campaign on the day, As wicked words were traded, Cindy McCain in anguish lay For hatred of Obama. She told reporters with her then, At the place she was campaigning: "Do not throw dirt on my husband dear, If your name should be Obama." Lies and slanders she made up, And would not admit her lying; And then she had the gall to say "It's we should do the crying." "O John's insulted, very very deep And a' from Barack Obama." "O the better for me you could never be, Than that you lose the election!"
