One of my favorite literary tangles has been the process whereby
the cover art that was (presumably) created by Emsh and others
specifically for works by Philip K. Dick, Andre Norton, James
White, and others was re-sold to Badger, where Fanthorpe apparently
wrote a completely different story around it. See, for example,
Fanthorpe's Hand of Doom, written around the cover of John
Brunner's Slavers of Space, in the magnificent cover gallery
on peltorro.com...then collect the whole set! (If you can find
them...) And who knew Fanthorpe had so many German editions? Take
that, Perry Rhodan!
