Frankly, I'd say that a revolution led by mayors would be a great thing. Mayors are directly, locally elected (most places), and are often held much more immediately accountable by their constituencies than, say, Congresscritters in far-away Washington. Plus they have a more immediate, local, example-setting effect.
Or maybe that's just in DC.
They don't claim than any ox is being gored. They claim that a potential ox may potentially be gored in the same state at the time these things are occurring. And that it can't possibly be the fault of the spear doing the goring.
Here's to Howard! The real test now, however, is transferring his support to whichever John ends up as the candidate. Maybe Dean should start running those campaigns?
