I love cilantro! My hispanic wife puts silantro in/on just about everything, to its betterment. A really simple sauce we've found is to take some plain jogert, stir in diced cilantro and a splash of lemon sauce. Dip batter fried chicken pieces in it, with mashed potatoes and broccolli on the side and you've got yourself one hell of a meal.

Oh and another thing...

I believe that the cure for disliking organized religion is prolonged exposure to the disorganized sort.

Having spent considerable time with both, I'll gladly take 'none of the above'. I prefer my nonsense whimsical, not soaked in blood or shaby with want for attention.

I believe that God is innordinately fond of beetles (there's more than 20,000 different species of the little suckers! So really, I think we know who His favorites realy are) and thus, not so interested in the rantings and ravings of us two legged critters, of whom there are only 6 billion or so (as opposed to the simply rediculous amount of beetles there are on this planet alone). seeing as how the beetles seem to get along with us despite our attempts at genocide (albeit, on a very small scale), we might be able to learn something form them.

As impracticle and imprecise as it is, this serif font based on Edward Gorey's lettering is fun.

I ran across a management book from my University Library set in Courier (from 1986). It looked like it was shot directly from the typed MS. It was so distracting to see a book in Courier that I couldn't actually read it, I just flipped throught he pages, marvelling at the grotesque beauty, the complete disregard for aesthetics.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, ...

'Liberated', as mentioned above, is not quite the term I'd use to describe the current state of Afghanistan and Iraq. But this is self evident.

...crushed the Taliban,...
The Taliban still control the majority of territory in Afghanistan and are encrouching on the parts they don't control. Doesn't sound like they've been all that "crushed' to me.

...crippled al-Qaida...
If they're so cripled why are they invoked every hour on the hour to justify everything from preemptive invasion to halitosis?

...Put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot,...
I thought they were UN inspectors in these countries. Maybe I'm wrong...

...and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
I assume he's refering to Saddam Husein who was a Dictator, not a Terrorist (But there I go splitting hairs! These days everyone we don't like with a mustache is a terrorist). Also we didn't capture Sadam so much as take him away when the British stumbled onto his hiding place. meanwhile, Osama Bin laden is still partying hard in the Afghan/Pakistan mountains, scheming away.

I was going to address the comparisons to other wars but I'll let someone who enjoys sizing up apples against oranges have their fun.

though I would like to say that comparing Bush to the likes of JFK and truman is a little uncouth. I imagine that when Bush gets to the Hereafter, Truman, JFK and a few other Ex-Presidents will have a few choice words to say to Junior.
