chris, given that Berube has a child with Down's it might seem less
likely that he would use the word "retarded" when transcribing that
inner voice that would coax us away from obsessively monitoring
that "ecosystem", Citation Indices, etc.
It seems to me that's all Alkali was pointing out. Patrick's just
truthfully reporting what it sounds like to him when he hears that
voice himself.
