I had the very great pleasure of listening to Mr. Obama at a rally
for the county Democratic organization (which was held at the
college that I work at). He IS the real deal. I mean real is the
best sense, too - not pretentious, not bombastic, just a guy. A guy
who happens to be ethical, moral, and genuinely concerned - not to
mention a guy who isn't afraid to tell us that it is not just up to
him to change things, but up to ALL of us.
BTW, a great quote relative to Alan Keyes' entry into the Senate
race:
"And I deeply resent the destruction of federalism represented by
Hillary Clinton's willingness to go into a state she doesn't even
live in and pretend to represent people there. So I certainly
wouldn't imitate it."
