ah, the London Sunday Times. i was living in england 20+ years ago when they published excerpts from the fake Hitler Diaries. and eminent WWII historian Sir Hugh Trevor-Roper said he'd "stake his reputation" that the diaries were authentic. which he pretty much did.

i'm betting on Yog as well -- i think the "and then" construct gives it away. he could have also used "gray" and "grey" to denote different shades, but that might have confused the poor folks at PA. :)

hi teresa. while i do agree with your general sentiment, i see that you've made the same mistake that many blue-state folks have made when generalizing about the political leanings of the 9/11 attack sites. as a twelfth-generation Virginian myself, i must point out that the Pentagon is located in Virginia, not in Washington DC. Virginia has been a red state since LBJ, but Arlington Co. and most of the northern VA suburb counties vote blue.

heh! i had to toss 6 chapters of a spy novel ms 14 years ago when Boris Yeltsin's coup overthrew the Soviets. damned freedom and democracy!
