Keith, I am your blog brother. my inspirations were Tom Tomorrow +
Atrios + dKos(in that order), so i guess that is one step below in
the 'slippery slope' that has been created in Mass.
moving to my main point,the reason i (used to)think of an LJ as
less than a blog is because most of the journals i saw
a)were filled with hormone-driven whining by teenagers, or
b)provided a way to make vapid/inflammatory comments by
disillusioned nerds.
but most importantly
c) had layout/design tendencies that would make Dali cringe.
let us just say the situation has improved significantly since then
but still seems to have a good way to go.
