Aside from the manifest illegality and idiocy, the most interesting
question to me would be the background of exactly why the LAPD
decided to raid the place and shut down the exhibit.
Their claim was apparently that someone called them to report an
"aggressive incident." I wonder who it was? An offended
corporation? An offended guest? An exhibitor looking for free
publicity? Cui bono?
Of course it had to be someone who knew the LAPD would take the
hook.
