I believe it is fine to have a novel inside of you, each and evey
one of us. A story particular of themselves with characters that
help them cope with situations. And to many, their story is the
most personal and worth sharing with others. So as far as being
published it's like anything else, if you don't try you won't
know.
Now with this in mind, unfortunately writing has become confused
with other forms of get rich quick schemes and lured many mediocre
and bad artists to attempt the climb to the top. Not all editors
and agents are great at picking out the best, and so many a jammy
get published fueling the fire. Unlike other get rich quick schemes
these people find out writing is long, hard and a tiring process,
so when many of the slackers finally finish, they are determined to
get to the top no matter how poor their finished product is and
will take every and all rejections to the heart, and let it
personally affect them. The novels are there inside, we just have
to learn to keep them there. That is all.
