"Isaiah Haden appears on the records of Hanover County, VA through 1789 and on the 1794 Property Tax List for Botetourt County, VA. Anthony, John and Bartholomew were deputy sheriffs in Botetourt County in 1800-1808. Bartholomew Haden m. Catherine Gholson in Botetourt County, VA in 1801. Anthony Haden is listed on the marriage bond. Bartholomew and Catherine move to Wayne County, KY, as does an Anthony Haden.
"My ancestor John Haden (1771-1825) first appears in Wayne County, KY in 1805 where he was appointed deputy sheriff."
