    He was a weaver. He fled from Saco, Maine to Salem at the time of King Philip's War. Around 1684 he removed to Enfield, Connecticut, where he served as a constable and selectman.

    His birthplace is unclear. Jacobus says it might have been England, or alternately Exeter, New Hampshire.

    Simeon married Rebecca Frost on 5 Jan 1664. Rebecca (daughter of Daniel Frost) was born about 1640; died on 25 Dec 1688. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    "[F]irst of Exeter, New Hampshire, a land measurer there in 1644. He removed to Wells, Cape Porpus and finally to Saco, where in 1654 he was on a commission to build a prison for Saco, Cape Porpus, Wells, and York."
