    Notes:

    A carpenter, he is first seen in Boston in 1639. Also spelled Blanton, Blantaine, Blandon, and even (!) Plantagne.

    His will mentions "my Eldest Brothr Ralph Blantine" and "John Blantine, my Second Brothr", "these two was borne in ye parish of Vpton vpon Seauerns in Wostershire."

    His will also explains that he is bequeathing relatively little to his son William "because he win not hearken to my counsel."

    He owned land in Muddy River, now Brookline, Massachusetts, and was involved with the iron works at Taunton.

    William married Phebe before 1642 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Phebe died after 15 Nov 1675. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Notes:

    Said to have been born around 1605, he was at Salem by 16 Jan 1637, when the town rejected him as an inhabitant. Despite that, the town granted him ten acres in 1638 and twenty more in 1644. By Feb 1647 he was at Rehoboth.

    He advanced the town money for King Phillip's War. He was a next-door neighbor of his brother-in-law Robert Fuller, but they disputed their common boundary for thirty years.

    Robert married Alice Bowen about 1640. Alice (daughter of Richard Bowen) was born about 1620; died between 11 Jan 1696 and 31 May 1699 in Rehoboth, Bristol, Massachusetts. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
