Notes - Contrary to the History of Parliament, The Blackmans of Knight's Creek, and Paul C. Reed (citation details below), she was probably not the mother of Agnes Besford. As pointed out in the Janet and Robert Wolfe Genealogy site, Alexander Besford first appears in the record married to Beatrix, widow of Thomas de Bassingbourne, on 24 Jun 1376, when the couple leases to John Busshe, chandler, some shops in the parish of St. Nicholas at the Shambles. Agnes Besford was probably Alexander Besford's daughter by his first wife, whose given name is unknown but who was a member of the Lench family.
