    • He was a tailor and a farmer, first of record at Kingstown in 1672.

      Constable 1687; grand jury 1688; Conservator of the Peace and Deputy, 1690.

      As his second wife he married Rebecca Gardiner, sister of Dorcas, who was probably the infant that her mother carried to Boston.
